The Country Pie with Jimmy Rose and I, played in a new place in London back in the
late sixties (1969 I think) called the Master Robert Motel. They had
music seven nights a week and a board at the front of the stage with the
name of the band for each night. When we started playing there
regularly they put our name on a board. On the reverse side was the name
of the band who had just left. It was Mungo Jerry!!

Hey Phil, Are you part of Jimmy Rose & The Country Pie who played the c & w circuit in West London in the late 60's & early 70's? I remember following you at the Clarendon, The Red Lion & The Nashville Rooms with my twin sister. I was mad about Jimmy & my sister fancied you.
Not after anything, just wondering if it is you lot lol.

Hi Jennifer, yes I was . Those were great times. Sadly Jimmy passed away in 2011
