Had a wonderful little tour in Texas during April. I had the pleasure of performing a house concert at the home of the famous Ham Jam in Austin. Also, Chuck Middleton joined me on his banjo and here's a link to our performance of "I'm the Coyote". Check it out on Youtube.

Phil Brooks at the Iron Horse Saloon, Alliance, Nebraska

During the late 70's and early 80's I performed at the Iron Horse Saloon in Alliance, Nebraska. I recently came across a video that was made of me performing there around 1981. The quality isn't so great since it was recorded on VHS, but it does show the Iron Horse during it's heyday.

Gretsch G-6040 Arch top guitar.

I was fortunate to aquire this guitar a few months ago. It is an archtop jazz styled instrument with enough volume to use acoustically. When plugged in, it has that beautiful, mellow Gretsch tone. This style, I believe, goes back to the guitars Gretsch produced in the forties.
