I was fortunate to see the aspens change in New Mexico and now I'm beginning to see my second fall of the year. The Georgia D.O.T. plants many native wild flowers by the highways and the first photograph shows some of these.
The photographs were taken on Highway 76 on my way to work in North Carolina this past Saturday. They are not quite at their peak but some time in the next couple of weeks we can expect to see a blaze of colour.
